So, my Ring doorbell has done great, catching us every time we leave or enter the house. It sees my car pull up and alerts me, but… I got an Amazon delivery sitting at the door and I have no evidence the Amazon person was even here… do they ignore themselves?..lol

Today’s visitor passing through the lawn.

So I saw this brand Mac and Cheese that as far as Mac and Cheese goes looks like a great option for the kids. Goodles. The problem, it costs three times as much as the standard, let alone if you look for it on Amazon, it’s 5-10x more. If the government wants to subsidize something, choose healthier food.

I’ve hit that point in returning to play certain video games that I wonder if I am doing the right thing. Am I wasting my time? Should I really be doing something more useful? As a person of faith, is playing a game where I’m constantly killing things even good for my mental well being? Thoughts?

Here is another of the two baby’s I see everyday now.

Mama in baby in the backyard this morning. The screen blurs the picture a bit unfortuunately.

Where do they think the people would be coming from?

Any good fantasy books where one of the main characters is a mage/wizard/warlock type? Besides Lord of the Rings.

Toyed around with some mobile MMOs yesterday. There isn’t a thing that can hang with World of Warcraft really. I guess I shouldn’t expect it on mobile. I don’t think WoW could be replaced though really.

Just saw my first cruise night in probably a decade or so. You know, when people fill up a parking lot with classic and custom cars. It was nice to see.

I have been really enjoying my time playing World of Warcraft. I am fairly sucked in, but I would love to find a similar game that has that you never run out of things to do feel, but I want it on mobile. I don’t like being locked to my laptop.

Hot Take: I couldn’t afford college, so I didn’t take out a bunch of loans I didn’t want to pay back. I joined the Army and had uncle sugar flip the bill after I did my time.

So I am back to the point where I’m using Brave for my browser and seriously thinking of going all in on Protonmail and it’s other services.

I want to get a doorbell cam that works with homekit(Apple). Any suggestions?

So is Damus done? Or will there be more of a fight with Apple? It’s a shame, it’s the best Nostr client I’ve used.

Apple Mail has been working ok for me so far. It does everything I need to a satisfactory level. Is it the best? Well, no, but it does the job. I’m thinking more now if I want 100% of my digital life under Apple’s control though. Maybe I should keep services spread around other sources.

I have to say, the “Google News” app is so much better than “Apple News”. It seems to have a lot less Hollywood babble in it, it gives me relevant local news, just less 💩 in general. Google news will also let you dive deeper I to a topic and help you find other sources. It’s a winner for sure.

Not having furniture now for three days has been amazing for cutting down on computer use. Sitting on a hardwood floor for hours just kills my body. I don’t think I’ve spent more than 20 minutes a day on the computer… once I have a chair and desk again, trouble…lol

Made it to West Virginia safely. Having my first cup of coffee behind the house in the morning. If only we had furniture….lol

Getting ready to hit the road, all ready a bit behind schedule.
