In this time and age it's so much more important to define what your project/protocol is NOT than what it IS. And then follow these limitations strictly. Knowing the boundaries is extremely useful as then you can carefully plan and build within them not inflating the purpose.

Branle doesn't support npubs... any other feature complete web clients like it? Seems like branle has been archived and abandoned, that's a shame.

Keep it up! The first language is the hardest to learn, it will become trivial after that. Unlike human languages these are mostly the same (sans functional languages but they're weird).

Had to move my server from leaseweb to Russia... they suddenly decided to run a KYC check and said they only work with businesses, not private persons. There was no KYC before and no one asked if I represent a company.

Having a stable, simple layer for something very basic is always an undersell because people focus on simplicity and think it's a limitation. While it's actually flexibility. Then again, there's a lot to do to make this simplicity work reliably.

I can see nostr being more than just a Twitter replacement. It might just as well be a lightweight general purpose pubsub layer for whatever you want like IoT or monitoring. Big corps don't plan for this even if they develop open networks. They're on anarchic enough.
