No markets are certain, including bitcoin. Against odds, bitcoin could trade down after you buy today.

Let’s say you buy right now. It could trade down tomorrow . But then trade up over the weekend . Then down again Monday.

But basically yeah it goes up; but it also goes down. If you are okay with some potential downside short term, but upside long term then good investment .

However, trying to time the market is really tricky . It’s just luck for the most part, if you decide to wait till it drops but then it doesn’t drop … then you are now buying at an even higher price .

There’s no point getting so fixated on its current price by a few thousand each way. When BTC eventually reaches $200k or $300k in the foreseeable future. Will you care if you bought it $75,000 or $73,000? I would say no. You would just be glad that you bought it .
