21 year old from Australia , stacking SATS and enjoying the bitcoin journey.

I watched BTC drop from $135,000 AUD to $125,000 AUD yesterday.

It’s now $132,500 AUD today.

Did you buy the cheeky dip? Or did the fear get to you.

Wanted to archive this for the future , I think I’ll look back in 12 months and appreciate this price.

For my Aussie brothers and sisters: $135,544 AUD

“If everything crashes like 2008, I’ll chuck $100,000 into stocks cause I know they will recover”

- my mates dad.

Oh brother … that actually makes me so sad. Will these people even consider BTC ? Like there is no scarcity in the stock market, it probably should crash because there’s such an artificial premium on stock prices. It’s entirely held up on the printed dollar, not true value.

Bitcoin is truely scarce no matter price, it’s the only asset that has recovered that many times after an 80% drop. It always bounces back regardless of the damage, and it comes back stronger.

When will people see that bitcoin is actually the least risky asset to hold long term. Crazy.

I’m wanting to post a Bitcoin video today, any good ideas for a short 5 minute video?

Getting my dad into BTC but it’s hard being at completely different stages of life.

He’s getting ready to retire and he wants to buy things like a caravan and a new car to travel with mum. He’s not really looking to lock his money up for 5-10 years. So I’m trying to find a balance for him that doesn’t affect what he wants to do but still looks some BTC away in cold storage just to have some skin in the game.

Whereas I’m trying to lock all my money up for the future to put off the now and enjoy the future. Putting in the hard work now in hope it pays off long term. I’ve got time on my hands at 21 years of age.

My neighbour bought 0.5 bitcoin years ago before it ran up to $60k USD.

He had bought it just to make some quick money but didn’t cash out at the top. So when it started to drop he sold and used the money on his house.

He now thinks he got played/scammed from BTC but if he actually just held BTC he could’ve been holding something priced at $100k + recently and now $80k .

Imagine if he just held as well as accumulating BTC , I genuinely believe he could’ve quite easily had a whole coin but he doesn’t have the conviction to hold or the understanding on why it will go up forever .

I’ve now been stacking BTC pretty hard for 6 months and I’ve still got no where near 0.5 BTC . But I think I will always have more BTC than my neighbour at this point unless he opens his mind again to start stacking from 0.

I think that is one of the most common stories you’d head in bitcoin.

If bitcoin went to $1 million this year, I would not sell my holdings.

Imagine where it’s heading after that, even if it did drop significantly after . Even an 80% drop to $200k .

I feel like 5-10 million a coin would be only 4 years away after a drop like that. The floodgates would be open.

Just a thought 💭

1 million a coin = 1 cent per SAT

I’m glad I’ve had to put in the work to learn and appreciate what I’m holding . Just tough to see $80k now , so many less SATS for my time .

Wonder if we’ll ever see it even below $60k

I remember when I saw Bitcoin for about $18,000 USD. I actually had about $12,000 in savings.

At the time I was looking for a car to buy as well as buying altcoins instead , thinking I could accumulate them for the next bullrun.

I ended up spending the $12,000 on a Hilux thinking I’d use it heaps for 4WD trips and camping etc .

Yes I’ve loved the car … but man now looking at bitcoin priced at $80,000 shocks me. So much price appreciation in a bit over 2 years … and I’ll never be able to get that amount of Bitcoin even with an increase of annual salary.

And the altcoins I held through the bear market… never recovered. Bitcoin also dropped even lower to about $15k just after me buying the car. As of today’s price that’s about a 5x.

REGRET- yes I have some. But man I did not have the conviction to buy and Hodl like I do now. I’ve learnt so much getting wrecked by altcoins and thinking I can time the market. Not understanding that it’s not too expensive to buy Bitcoin, you can buy a small percentage through (SATS) .

Yesterday was the time to buy bitcoin. But you can get some today.

I’ve been humbled …

My dad has agreed to accept SATS when I pay him back money I owe.

I don’t often owe him, but when I do it’s a cheeky way for him to grow his BTC holdings.

Easiest way I’ve done this in Australia is through strike nostr:nprofile1qqsvf646uxlreajhhsv9tms9u6w7nuzeedaqty38z69cpwyhv89ufcqprfmhxue69uhkummnw3ezummjv9hxwetsd9kxctnyv4mqzxrhwden5te0wfjkccte9eekummjwsh8xmmrd9skcsg0hmn

We are both looking into cold storage once we accumulate a large holding.

This bloke is a legend! Buys $1 of bitcoin everyday.

It doesn’t seem like much but it’s what he can afford right now. It’s awesome that he gets to stack a bit over 1000 sats with the goal of reaching 1 million SATS.

Give him a follow or subscribe to his channel on YouTube.

How do you guys attempt to bring your partner into the Bitcoin world?

My wife says she trusts me with BTC and our combined money. But I’ve tried to illustrate she needs to have some level of understanding so when BTC does have a massive drop and it feels like our net worth disappears, she’s ready for it and understands where this thing is headed.

Any ideas ?? Thanks .

Bitcoin has been functioning the same since it’s inception in 2009. Nothing has changed…

Bitcoin does not need ETF’s, companies or countries.

They benefit from bitcoin, bitcoin doesn’t benefit from them.

We benefit from bitcoin due to its unchanging attributes.

Fixed supply and a decentralised protocol.

Adopt bitcoin and opt out of the fiat system rigged against us. Robbing us of our time and energy through inflation.
