I dont use nostr on mobile browser, but when i first got on nostr i tried Kiwi for that exact reason.
I will check that again later. Kiwi working well after i changed battery settings for it.

Sometimes when you push out a new update, it refused to install unless I uninstall Amethyst first. Not that big of deal, but then every message I've ever recieved appears as unopened and it takes forever to go click them all and get rid of the new message indicator.
