This is from when I got stranded in Amsterdam at the start of the pandemic during what was to be only a 13 day trip, but I ended up living there for 4 months and then visited Bulgaria for a month before coming back to the US. Sorry I’ve been an absentee poster the last few weeks. The reality of my life hit really hard when I returned home. Learning to exist in the same space but in a completely different frame of mind was a difficult shift. The comfort of the old ways is still tugging on me today but I’ve made great progress towards a new way forward.

The final week or so in Florida was action packed, a quality hang with some new friends, a visit from Brent and Katherine, which included a bunch of nice dinners and cocktail bars, and also the accompanying bender. It was a tough way to leave Florida but it was also really nice to get to know them both.
Since being home it’s been tons of disc golf, tons of time with #chickendog and a good amount of family time. I was able to sign a new lease last week and get my mental state to the next stage in this whole process. I’m still in a bit of a funk but taking a step back… I need this change. Now to make sure that I set my life up for achievement and doing the things that really nourish my soul. Progress.

Psych! The vacation mode has continued into taking over this entire week.
I met up with some of my favorite people at the pool in Marco Island at the JW Marriott on Tuesday. Followed by a golf day in Naples with Dorsey. Then it was back to Ft Lauderdale for more vacation time with my friends sister, her wife, and two lovely kiddos. I was even able to make it out to the #pickleball courts to play a few games.
Once they left I headed to the beach to see my friend who happened to be in town for a #bitcoin mining conference and then went out with them and that got pretty wild.
Next night was Norms for the silent disco which was rad, and then the block party last night was also a good time.
Tonight will be Ari Shaffir and then back to health and fitness tomorrow!

Wow. I’ve got such good people around me. This is the culmination of many years of fundraising and organization for #movember. So grateful, love you all.
Hey! I spent the last few days vacationing in Naples after wrapping up my first leg in Ft. Lauderdale. #loa
I was enjoying the sun and heat of Ft. Lauderdale every day, stretching outside, working out outside, biking, walking, and swimming. It was time for me to relocate for a few days and make way for my hosts to entertain another group of family and friends for a few days. I couldn’t be more grateful to Tim and Katie for allowing me to spend so much time with them at their beautiful home.
Naples has been more of a vacation, fancy dinners, cocktail bars, and piña colada’s, but still moving every day, still stretching, and still getting good sun. We played some mini golf, hit the beach and pool. I took a nice morning bike ride to Publix to get some essentials for breakfasts and lunches and then took a nice long walk with my friend Corinne.
I think the next two or three days will be much less vacationy and more business and fitness oriented.
