Just came home with some trees!! I went looking for another texas persimmon, but got home with a texas persimmon and 2 mexican white oaks. The nursery had all shade trees marked down 50%, plus one of the white oaks looked a little sad, so i convinced the guy to give me another 10% off that one. Am i the only one who gets so excited about buying trees? Yes 🙏, very thankful everybody is alright. Got the chicks moved into the coop in the brooder with the adults now. Closer to the house and more secure. Hoping to get a live trap set up over the weekend.
Hoping to pick one up over the weekend! Moved everyone into the big coop yesterday evening, where I haven’t had any issues. It’s much closer to my house, and is more secure. I’ll update once I get the live trap set up 👍🏼
Oof. Something I’m guessing a raccoon dug into the chicks’ run but thankfully couldn’t get into the coop! They’re back in the garage safely 🙌🏼. Hoping to get their brooder moved into the coop after work. Just thankful everyone is still alive. #Chickens
