no need to apologize! 🙂 I just wanted to make clear my position not to look like a 💩coiner 😬
don't tell me to open my eyes. I'm into Bitcoin since 2012 and I'm toxic AF against everything is not Bitcoin. I'm running 3 nodes with all the possible filters against shit people are putting in the timechain.
hey, there was a wink in the sentence! I thought it was obviously sarcastic!
the control he has is something out of this world. just incredible!
we could say the same for money: just use central bank database
😉
although the ticket was just a random example, it was not completely random and unfit.
a couple of years ago I wanted to sell the ticket for a concert I could no more attend and it was a huge mess. The "traditional database" didn't allow me to transfer it easily (also, you could only transfer once, if you managed to), so I spent a lot of time seeking a solution.
If it was issued as an NFT it could have been easier.
I believe that something like that could be built on top of the RGB protocol so, no timechain spam and low fee.
NFT, if done properly, might have some kind of use cases.
Imagine, for example, a digital ticket for a concert. It is non fungible and once you have it, you may want give it to someone else.
That said, all current NFT implementations, together with inscriptions, ordinals, rune or whatever they are, are just utter garbage.

"I like Python because it's easy", they say.
lightning channels are just plain BTC transactions. You just need to broadcast them to be included in a block to get your onchain BTC (simplified, but this is the concept)
I think she would include also lightning nodes (if she knew the differences)
we are all Dan (except CSW)
