Why zaps will ⚡️ change the world. ⚡️

#1 zaps promote positive ⚡️ behaviour on ⚡️ social media. ⚡️ Nobody is likely ⚡️ going to receive zaps for shitposting, you likely get ⚡️ zaps for value added notes, ⚡️ the kind of ⚡️ notes that cause people ⚡️ to stop and pause ⚡️ and reflect. This ⚡️ is good. It promotes positive engagement ⚡️ and helpfulness.

#2 zaps are bitcoin! ⚡️ Just let that sink in ⚡️ for a moment. Zaps are ⚡️ bitcoin. Zaps take Bitcoin to new places, ⚡️ new people and ⚡️ completely new uses cases. It’s ⚡️ too hard to ignore zaps and ⚡️ everyone who ⚡️ sees it happening ⚡️ naturally wants to find ⚡️ out how to get ⚡️ involved. Zaps like ⚡️ have extremely high ⚡️ monetary velocity ⚡️ probably much higher than even dollar ⚡️ bills.

#3 zaps ⚡️ offer a clear and ⚡️ genuine path to ⚡️ ad free ⚡️ content monetisation. This is the only ⚡️ way to achieve free ⚡️ speech, ⚡️ free of commercial ⚡️ dependency, free of ⚡️ influence. People ⚡️ are not used ⚡️ to seeing this any more. ⚡️ We need it. We need ⚡️ objective news ⚡️ and now we can finance ⚡️ it directly.

I think this is so subtle and yet so fundamentally different in how zaps promotes positive behaviour and healthy engagement that when you aggregate this up to societal levels it will feel like a completely different society, once everyone has adopted this kind of online engagement.
