Arch is worth it & easier than you think- been using it on various machines for 3+ years.

Once you have a good amount of experience with Linux (i.e. once you're comfortable tinkering with random things and have a good amount of intuition) I'd recommend going for Qubes if your machine is strong enough & you care a lot about security.

Side note: The default XFCE desktop environment sucks in my opinion, I always replace it with KDE or i3 or dwm. KDE works best with some tiling extensions if that's your thing, as you can use activities in conjunction with workspaces to really isolate different workflows. I'm usually a WM-only kind of guy, but the activity+workspace combo has kept me on KDE when using Qubes.

Also, be sure to install 4.2 alpha rather than 4.1. It's perfectly stable and dom0 will be much more modern. Don't play around with guiVMs, they are very hit-or-miss depending on hardware and not something you should try until you're very familiar with Qubes.

0 respect for elders, why am I not surprised?

I speak on behalf of our community when I say that we've had enough of the US government meddling in our affairs.

Anyone else noticing this weird bug where putting a lowercase L after an f results in some severely screwed rendering? Happening on Firefox & Librewolf for me. Uploaded an example below

Be prepared for a false flag soon

So nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft is forcing us to do a panel with him on the workshop stage and refusing to tell us about what.

Not familiar with either of you but that sounds funny so do it

Eh, I've gotten used to the write code -> run clippy -> fix bugs cycle, I only compile when I really need to test something

I wouldn't be surprised if this was true. Piers Morgan gained far more traction from his interviews with pro-Palestinian figures than he did from his interviews with Zionist shills.

The entire Daily Wire crew has also been losing engagement ever since they opened their lying mouths about the war in Palestine

The slimy behavior and idiocy of Piers Morgan (the second image isn't embedding for whatever reason, it's a screenshot of the tweet on children being killed in Gaza that Piers was responding to).

Side note: Would you want an AUR package to be created? If so, I'll do it

https://github.com/fiatjaf/nak now has a usable readme that actually shows some of what it can do.

I'm writing a relay and this will be super useful for testing it, thank you!
