In a meeting at City Hall with local government officials today, we discussed launching a Bitcoin education initiative. The first class—designed specifically for 30 local government employees and executives will begin on May 16th in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Over 50 people have already registered for the large quarterly Bitcoin meetup on Saturday, May 17. We’re capping it at 75 to keep it comfortable. Free to join, fully catered, come network, meet fellow Bitcoiners, and hear the latest on Bitcoin adoption in Thailand. Message or comment to be put on the list.

I’m not sure why the host chose this misleading thumbnail since I never mentioned price once. But this video covers a lot of the work we’re doing at the Bitcoin Learning Center in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
