Trying to build the front end of a Nostr Client, it's been my dream forever to have my own client, I am no dev, but I'm learning, if I can get the beginning of it going, then maybe I will hire someone to do the backend stuff for me.

The name of the client idea is Oasis, this is what I got after one day so far:

Is it just a “coincidence” that the day after the US house passes an act automatically registering men aged 18 - 26 in “selective service” ie - draft, that my 16 year son comes to me saying that signing up for the military looks “fun”.

As the propaganda and war machine ramps up, and social media channels/AI is used to manipulate minds and control the agenda, talk to your kids - openly and often about their thoughts.

Ps - It was a good reinforcement lesson for my son that his own thoughts are being manipulated. (He thought he was immune because we often talk about it as a family)

Send the letter back with big red letters written on it "No Contract. Offer refused." Send certified mail if you want to have additional security.

It would also provide additional security if you submitted with it a letter stating that you are a no longer a US citizen, but are now a Non-citizen National of the United States.

I found myself getting really angry today because my wife was having a stress "tantrum" that was rubbing off on me and the kids. Not to be demeaning by calling it a tantrum, I have bad days much more frequently and owe her grace at this point, but regardless, I felt that it was unfair to everyone that found themselves in her path.

Today was particularly enlightening as I noticed that many of the things she was saying and how she said them were things I remember my mother saying to me, and I resented her for them. Then the Lord brought to my attention how I had often done and said the same things to my kids. Humbled, it helped me understand and forgive not only my wife in her stress of the day, but also my mom from years back, things I had totally forgotten about and didnt realize I was "holding onto".

I save a lot of memes, and the recent UI changes have made that much more difficult. I think the pop-up box that announces the image has been saved is great; I just want it to disappear on its own without my having to acknowledge it with an extra button press...

Lots of people complain of no feedback when saving the picture. So, that's why the new screen is there. I will try to change it to an animated button of some sort.
