#1 Following: Jesus the Annointed King. Why?๐Ÿค”๐Ÿง Jesus created the universe. He claims all as benevolent King, and I cordially invite you to voluntarily join his expanding Kingdom. I believe that #bitcoin is a significant tool for taking back power from the forces of darkness. Read me here: https://peakd.com/a/@creatr/b Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather

Sorry for the delayed response; I think you're thinking of the guy in the photo (Rebel) working with BenArc, not me?๐Ÿค”

I don't know for sure if he got it working, but I'd be surprised if he didn't; Ben's such a great guy, and very kindly persistent.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ’–

I usually take a billion photos of everything, so i can't believe this is the *only* shot I got at the SeedSigner booth.๐Ÿค”๐Ÿง๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Maybe it was because I was having such a good time chatting with the man who came up with the SeedSigner architecture?๐Ÿ˜† (NOTE: He's right here on nostr). nostr:nprofile1qqs09jtvjlmyrxjn37zv70a89csegcz7rpyqjmnw29cveedhv7vagqqpr9mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuumwdae8gtnnda3kjctv9uwarz0u has created a brilliant tool that DOESN'T do a lot of things.

The SeedSigner *doesn't* connect to the internet. It doesn't store your bitcoin private keys. It doesn't cost a fortune, or hide any secrets of how it works. It doesn't take an expert to build it at home from off-the-shelf parts (I've built three so far). And it *doesn't* store your private keys in some device or memory or format that's questionably secure. In fact, it doesn't store your private keys at all! When you disconnect the power, your private keys disappear with the vanishing electricity.

What DOES this amazing device do? I'll let you explore that for yourself at https://SeedSigner.com , but I will say I've been blown away by how easy it is to use and how capably it secures my bitcoin.

I was blessed by my brief visit with nostr:nprofile1qqs09jtvjlmyrxjn37zv70a89csegcz7rpyqjmnw29cveedhv7vagqqpr9mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuumwdae8gtnnda3kjctv9uwarz0u . He's still learning and inventing, and is a keen observer of the world of bitcoin. We tried exchanging Cashu tokens, but perhaps our eCash wallets weren't quite in tune?๐Ÿค”

Prolific SeedSigner dev Keith Mukai was also at the booth, but I missed my chance to chat with him... Shoutout to nostr:nprofile1qqs9kr5d5m7lhfnrqwrfpvmay9kcx3dxy0xr8cg34lg0ww8dw7ftc4qprpmhxue69uhkv6tvw3jhytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0qythwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnswf5k6ctv9ehx2ap0qyt8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytndd9kx7afwd3hkctc0axsam, and thanks for all you're doing.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

I've even heard rumors that the SeedSigner might one day support signing "notes and other stuff."

Aw, too bad you noticed...

I coulda bolstered my "Dev Gal Pinup" collection...๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ˜

You and me too, Fren!

Despite near-univeral KYC, I think most REAL money launderers make CLEAN getaways...๐Ÿคฃ

(Because the REAL purpose of KYC is to entrap us when our wealth jumps by an astounding increment of ~$600 USD...)๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ณ.

While in Nashville, I had the privilege of meeting nostr:nprofile1qqs09jtvjlmyrxjn37zv70a89csegcz7rpyqjmnw29cveedhv7vagqqppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0pyt0kr in person and expressing my deep and sincere appreciation for the work he and his team have done and continue to do on the spectacular air-gapped signing device.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿš€๐ŸŽ‡

Some of the VERY BEST proof of work at bitcoin2024 was on display in a relatively small corner of the vast exhibit hall.

Space was reserved, and (as I best understand it) donated to open-sourced projects supporting the bitcoin ecosystem.

I'll be sharing some of those projects, along with a few photos and my opinions, in upcoming notes about the conference(s).๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Don'cha know why?๐Ÿค”

Gotta support a few "public servants" who are working so hard to effect this beautiful transaction; after all, they're doing entirely with our very best interests in mind, amiright?๐Ÿง๐Ÿ˜ณโ”

Home safe on the left coast from the bitcoin2024 conference in Nashville...

It was great meeting a bunch of nostriches in person, both known and previously unknown...

More news tomorrow when I'm awake...๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

Good Night, nostr!๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ˜€

I am PUMPED watching NWS coming into being!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿš€

Among other beautiful things, no more slavery to centralized, state controlled DNS?๐Ÿค”๐Ÿง๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŽ‡

Let's Freaking GO!!!๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Hoping to see / meet some of you in Nashville this week!๐Ÿ˜„

Good Sunday to you, Plebs!

Here's a sonnet I wrote a while back, suitable for a Sunday meditation:

Good God, Why Me?

by Duncan Cary Palmer

You could have chosen someone far more fit

To champion your honor in debate.

A brilliant scholar, schooled in word and wit,

Whose logic captive minds might liberate.

Perhaps you should have picked an artisan,

Aesthetic sensibilities replete.

His stunning output minds and hearts would win,

His artifacts, a testimony sweet.

Good God, Why me? Why choose this reprobate?

Why bother with a man so deeply flawed?

I feel so weak, so unable of late

My fellow man to turn toward thoughts of God.

But, as you've chosen me, I'll sing your praise

Throughout the universe for endless days.

~FIN~
