I confess to insufficiently steel manning the anti-vaxxers. I believe they have a valid argument that competent adults (or their children) should not be forced to receive a medical intervention against their will. Many have taken the less justifiable stance of denying the successes of vaccines and and lying about side effects that don’t exist.

“Anti-vaxxer” means pro-disease.

Perhaps the anti-vaxxers think curable diseases are an efficient way to reduce the human population.
