most of the meatspace people get scared at the private key part, although it's getting a lot easier, and the ones I had onboarded sometime earlier who had only casually browsed through nostr at the time are actually getting good at private key management now, it's intuitive for them, even from non technical backgrounds.
I think there's a learning curve, but the reward is worth it for people that try.

You need to get a lightning address, you can use a custodial solution like alby or wallet of satoshi to get started and then paste the address in the “LNURL” section of your nostr profile
