It's time for another #FOSSFriday note. Today, let's talk about HedgeDoc.
HedgeDoc is an open-source, web-based, self-hosted, real-time collaborative markdown editor.
You can use it to easily collaborate on notes, graphs and even presentations in real-time. All you need to do is to share your note-link to your co-workers or friends and family.
I use HedgeDoc for note taking and staging long-form Nostr notes. My friend nostr:npub12262qa4uhw7u8gdwlgmntqtv7aye8vdcmvszkqwgs0zchel6mz7s6cgrkj introduced me to HedgeDoc last summer and I've been using it ever since.
I wouldn't say that HedgeDoc is a full Google Docs replacement though. That #FOSSFriday is coming up soon. HedgeDoc is somewhere in the middle between Google Keep and Google Docs. It's more specialized.
We are huge fans of HedgeDoc in our company and using it widely... I'm pursuing my boss to donate monthly. i wish I succeed in this :)
