(I know I setup zaps but I don’t know how to buy them only receive)

Why’s there no API? Yeah I get it’s a #protocol but I don’t understand :/ do they just call the relays instead? Super confusing wish this was easier

I've only used WoS on android where it pops up automatically when you go to zap someone. Alternatively, if the person has a lightning URL, copy that, open WoS and click the ⚡ icon at the bottom, paste in the URL of the person you're trying to zap.

It's been quite awhile since I've used WoS. I remember it being a bit of a pain to do exactly what you're trying to do. I eventually switched to Zeus and Enuts.

I love #nostr but I think the identity use case is overly ambitious. it's just too easy to irrevocably steal or lose a nostr nsec. As far as I understand once someone else has gained access to your nsec once, you can never recover your nostr identity for your exclusive use.

Yeah exactly I always wondered what would happen if yours accidentally got leaked. Not much they can do now the whole system is out but yeah it sucks

when buying bitcoin at main exchanges, they demand information about you (name, address etc.) it's not good cause governments could know that you have bitcoin

Wait ignore that. I setup my address and connected it to my profile. I got zapped 50 sats idk if that was for signing up or if that was somebody on Nostr tho.

if you want to do it in a bitcoiner way, search about robosats. But if you don't care about kyc, probably binance is the better choice, since it supports lightning withdrawals

I’m so lost. I logged in with my email but how do I connect my wallet to Nostr using either (damus or primal) and then purchase sats to send ppl?
