I always get this feeling of privacy and authenticity on #Nostr compared to legacy social media.
I know notes can theoretically last forever, and on a long enough time horizon we all get canceled. But something about knowing the world *isn’t* watching right now makes me feel more comfortable sharing.

I’ve had some success with the ETF. It’s not a good solution, but it’s better than nothing.
Don’t worry as much about onboarding older generations to #bitcoin. They don’t need it as much. The system, shitty as it is, will take care of them. The rest of us? Not so much.
Onboard the young people. As a “customer” of bitcoin, they have greater lifetime value and the cost of acquiring them is cheaper.

Andreas Antonopoulos deserves a lot more recognition than he gets in the #bitcoin community IMO.
People make him out to be this pariah because he’s studied the tech behind ETH and therefore failed some bullshit purity test, but he literally wrote the book on bitcoin and Lightning.
Every bitcoin content creator in 2024 is just paraphrasing talks he gave five or more years ago. If you’re new here, his videos are the closest thing you’ll find to a masterclass.
