einer Stadt im Erzgebirge ein

Dieser Ort war vom 11.05. - 20.06. unbesetzt.

Weder Amerikaner noch Soviets rückten hier ein.

Auf die Gründe gehe ich natürlich ein

Der Punkt, den ich am Sonntag herausarbeiten möchte ist jedoch, dass anders als manch überzeugter Kommunist im Ort auch heute noch argumentieren würde, nicht der Kommunismus das Überleben der Bevölkerung sicherte, sondern das private Unternehmertum

In Zusammenarbeit mit der heute 72 Jährigen Autorin Lenore Lobeck habe ich Argumente gesammelt, die dafür sprechen, dass die freie Marktwirtschaft und Tauschhandel der Bevölkerung über die 42 Tage ohne Besatzung halfen, alles völlig ohne Staat und Reglementierung

Würde mich über den ein oder anderen Besucher im X Space am Sonntag, LIVE ab 20 Uhr freuen

Violent crimes happen almost every day in Germany, parks become no-go areas and almost nobody cares and the german news prefers to talk about trump and musk. As an future dad, I find this development frightening.

Danger in the playground:

Back in the day, when I was a kid growing up in the UK, there were some potentially lethal children’s playground equipment which can no longer be seen, equipment that was potentially lethal and which no modern-day authority would allow on their children’s play areas.

One of these was the Witch’s Hat a sort of roundabout pivoted at the top so as well as going round it could also sway from side to side. Kids actually loved it, but it had the potential for injury should a child get in the way whilst it was swaying. My photograph shows a Witch’s Hat at Gelligaled Park in the Rhondda.

At the Jane Hodge Holiday Home, the dates of both photographs sometime in October 1972.

Another fun but potentially dangerous item I seem to recall we called The Jerker, although Wicksteed the manufacturers of this piece of equipment named this a Plank Swing.

The swing had a travel limiter but nevertheless this thing could go very high and extremely fast before the bar prevented further upward movement.

In the background can be seen another piece of playground equipment that has disappeared, the Jungle Gym climbing frame. The fair-haired boys seen either end of the swing were non-identical twin brothers and a mischievous pair they were too, the one on the right is also in the first photo.
