I was going to keep this private but fuck it! We develop in the open!

Here is the entire 12+ month projection on nutmix development.

Short-term (1-3 months)

- Admin Dashboard.

I'm already working on this, this will allow mint admins to be able to change setting on the mints in a much better way as well as control what is happening on it.

I will explore the possibility of making an Admin API so you can configure things programatically. This would be useful for software like start9 or umbrel.

Link to milestone: https://github.com/lescuer97/nutmix/milestone/2

- Multi-path payments. This will allow wallets to pay from multiple mints at the same time.

link: https://github.com/cashubtc/nuts/blob/main/15.md

- CLN support for the mint.

Mid-term (3-6months)

- Liquidity management. if the mint has a lot of money on lightning being able to move it to something like on chain or liquid would allow you to mitigate some risks.

- EUR support with strike backend.

- WebSocket communication NUT.

Link: https://github.com/cashubtc/nuts/blob/main/17.md

- Mint Authentification: This is still a working spec in which I would be contributing to it to make it a reality.

- DLC Ecash. This is still a a Draft PR but very interesting stuff that I would love to apply.

Link: https://github.com/cashubtc/nuts/pull/128

- Monero support (I'm still on the fence with this one).

Long-term (6 - 12 months)

- all encompassing docker container.

This would be a command or binary that you can execute and you can then easily pick and choose what you need for your mint.

You don't have anything setup?

I will setup bitcoin core, lightning and the mint for you. with other optional stuff like mempool.space and LNBITS.

you already have a lightning node?

Great! I will only setup the mint and you can link to it on the setup process.

NOTE:

When setting up a lightning node from scratch there could be a possibility of using an LSP and could be a possible source of income to the project.

- Secure remote signer for ecash. Cashu Mints are commonly hosted in remote servers if we can have the keys to the mint in a secure enclave (AWS or home signing device) it would be a great improvement in security specially if we can combine it with VLS in lightning.

There is one milestone that will happen during the entire process and it's constant testing improvements as well as bug fixes reported by users or myself.

If you would like to donate to keep the project going Zap this note or See the link below:

The most you could say here is that the CIA discovered the idea. The community build it out into what it is today. Are you saying the entire bitcoin community contributors are all part of the CIA?

Just some notes I took:

In a world of AI, social credit system and targeted ads, plausible deniability is NOT a plausible defense.

You also need privacy from who you send payments to and who pays you

We need to hide the transaction value and hide the transaction graph.

Vickory?

Sorry, I meant: Vickrey auction

🚨 For the first time, a government is being overthrown by 3D-printed weapons 🔫

The longest-lasting civil war today took an unexpected turn... when the resistance adopted plastic weapons and cryptocurrencies.

You NEED to know what's happening in Myanmar 👇

Myanmar has never had political stability since gaining independence 76 years ago.

The latest coup was in 2021, banks were drained, and the local currency lost 60% of its value in the following months.

Rebels have since been using CRYPTO to finance themselves.

They declared TETHER as the official currency 🏅

They launched a stablecoin and a crypto bank on the Polygon network that accesses Uniswap pools for buying and selling currencies.

They even created a digital lottery and boycotted the national Myanmar lottery, which saw its revenue drop by 80% 📉

The rebels have raised about $100 million in recent years.

They even auctioned "revolutionary bonds": buyers could receive a share of a deposed general's mansion, for example.

But this $100 million is nothing compared to the nearly $1 billion that the junta has invested in the war since the coup.

This ASYMMETRY of resources suggests a protracted conflict with no end in sight.

The junta is unable to eliminate all the decentralized insurgency hotspots... but it can exhaust them financially.

However, the asymmetry is decreasing, thanks to DISSIDENT TECHNOLOGIES...

JStark would be proud.

In recent months, there have been reports of FGC9s in use in Myanmar.

FGC9 is one of the most popular models of self-made firearms.

FGC = Fuck Gun Control

No one conquers a city with FGC9s.

But it is certainly possible to...

... defend a mountain pass or a village surrounded by forest with them.

Moreover, the resistance has mastered the art of producing and piloting homemade patrol drones.

Check it out 👇

The insurgents have already liberated ~50% of the territory.

The military junta controls the most populous and economically significant areas.

China supported the last coup in 2021. The West never had enough incentive to confront Beijing 🇨🇳

But in 2024, everything starts to change.

China's interest is economic.

They need to be on the side of the "winner" to ensure access to Myanmar's strategic pipelines and ports.

But in March of this year, Beijing lost its patience.

Hold on to this:

😳 44,000 CHINESE were in Myanmar as "slaves"...

...and they were finally discovered and "returned."

They were working in "ONLINE SCAM CENTERS" operating in the northern part of the country. They were lured with fake job advertisements.

This is a scam center on the border with Thailand, packed with Chinese workers, scamming people worldwide 👇

Think about this 👇

You’ve probably been targeted by some online profile trying to scam you, operated by one of the THOUSANDS of trafficked Chinese people working in centers like this.

What year are we living in, folks?! 😳

The fight against tyranny still seems far from over. But the end appears to have already begun.

The balance of power is shifting.

According to Venice.ai

While I don't have direct access to specific sources from the 1970s, I can provide some context and examples of how thinking about cholesterol levels evolved during that period.

In the early 1970s, there was a lack of consensus on what constitutes "normal" cholesterol levels. Some researchers even suggested that high cholesterol might be beneficial for certain individuals. This is reflected in various publications from the time.

For example, a 1972 article in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) titled "Cholesterol and Coronary Heart Disease: A Statement by the Expert Panel on Detection and Treatment of High Blood Cholesterol" mentioned that "the relationship between serum cholesterol levels and coronary heart disease is not well-established." The article also stated that "there is no evidence to support the belief that lowering plasma cholesterol will reduce the risk of coronary heart disease."

Another publication, a 1977 article in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) titled "The Lipid Research Clinics Coronary Primary Prevention Trial Results: II. The Relationship of Reduction in Incidence of CHD to LDL Cholesterol" , reported that the trial found no significant reduction in coronary heart disease events in men with total cholesterol levels below 350 mg/dL.

These sources, while not directly stating that a cholesterol level of 350 was considered "normal," reflect the lack of consensus and understanding about the risks associated with high cholesterol during that time period. However, it's essential to note that these publications are from reputable scientific journals and represent the prevailing thought at the time.

As research progressed and more evidence emerged linking high cholesterol to cardiovascular risk, guidelines and recommendations evolved accordingly. Today, a total cholesterol level of 350 mg/dL is considered high and potentially risky for one's health.
