When I was a reporter for a small Texas newspaper I lived in Ron Paul's district while he was a congressman. One of Ron Paul's aides told me that he really loved politics. Not liberty, freedom, libertarianism, or sound money. He loved politics. I got the impression he would have been just as happy working for Ted Kennedy. Some people are really consumed with being part of the system that controls other people's lives.

Soldiers who kill and injure innocent people, and destroy their homes and property, are criminal murderers and vandals. The fact that they are following orders and acting with the blessings of the government doesn't change that. Everyone is responsible for their own actions. There is no shifting the blame to someone else. This is why I don't support our troups. They're not protecting life and liberty, they're spreading and enforcing tyranny.
