Norris ran wide on the opening lap of the Sprint, dropping from sixth to ninth. It took him a while to get back past Stroll for P8, but he ran out of time to climb any higher. As for Piastri, he harried and hurried Verstappen ahead, cleverly managing his tyres to eventually get past using DRS for a very good P2.
