Well once again Linux Mint made an unusable Windows Laptop usable again. I still wonder just how Windows does not work so well on some hardware as these were some issues you had early on with Linux!

The is one thing which is a little annoying is I have to have a dummy Facebook account to use Messager as some of my friends are still blinkered to alternatives!
But I have remember that everyone is as open to news things as I am.🙂
There is a palatable sense of relief walking away from the mainstream social networks like Meta. You don't know just how they effect your mental health until you walk away from them.

I am of the view that both Facebook and X are not going to be here in 5 years time and if they are they will be shadows of what they were.
The Fediverse is the future and I was head of the game with Second Life which is still going strong.🙂

So it starts both my Instagram and Threads accounts have been deleted.
I will say Threads much like Facebook does really have some toxic people on it.

The fun thing about leaving Meta is persuading friends who insist staying there to use other messaging services.
Most are very ignorant just how bad Meta is going to get!!!!!
Time to leave Meta totally as it is not going to be any better than X.

Woke up this morning with the feeling things are really not going to end well for Trump, Musk and MAGA.
Personally I find those who thought the left would save them from the likes of Trump were fools.
As the left even here are part of the problem as they are also part of the old order more desperate to play politics rather than hold on to their principals and actually help people!
Trump and his billionaire supporters by their actions are sowing the seeds of revolution and hastening the passing of the old order which will not be missed when it is gone, much like Trump.🙂
In the end it going to be a rest day to recover from last two busy days. It is one of those times when I am happy not to be working.
All worth it in the end as my body is winning battle with Cancer with the help of the Chemo.
