i still don't know what kind of stuff resonates with people on Nostr so i just post what comes naturally.

i see that there are events defined for chat rooms on the NIP page. is it possible to join those with an iOS client?

i suspect there are multiple camps in the Bitcoin space. there must be, since it's a pretty big space. and i expect there are strong disagreements between them.

if you swear by Bitcoin, of course you're going to say that πŸ˜›

i may not know all that much about the subcultures here but i have a certain level of technical and financial understanding.

there's most certainly a reputation though since it was so easy to find that image. and the crypto startup i got pulled into a few years ago was definitely going for the flashy side of things. working there felt like a cult.

one of the first images i found for "Bitcoiner" and the way some of them talk, you imagine them to look like this

never said that either. but there are people who hear about Bitcoin and they go buy it at some exchange but they don't know how to set up their own wallet, so it's effectively like having money in the bank.

i'm not particularly against it to begin with, sooo

ah, so there's a Nostr conference going on, and apparently i caught the live stream in the middle of the lunch break

people zapping me like mad - i'm making at least a few dollars per day

i heard someone say that Jack Dorsey posted the first note to "start the chain"

how did Nostr come to adapt the Costa Rican phrase pura vida?
