Unfortunately the App Store version of Damus doesn’t support them yet - hopefully coming soon. They are basically just tips linked to posts.
In the mean time you can just get the regular lightning tips set up (I personally use LightningTipBot), by setting an address in your profile

Not posed to make a call on the technical specifications of zaps vs boosts for example, but I like the zaps name because it doesn’t have the baggage of a past social context AND the name directly implies that it’s a lightning payment as opposed to BTC. Great branding IMO

#[0] is there a time limit on the profile? Trying to find the first post I made on Damus and not seeing it. I do have the Damus relay added, which would have certainly been added at the time.
Give it Damus good ol’ reboot. That solved it for me
Are you on the App Store version or the TestFlight version? It’s only in beta right now. If you are on TestFlight try restarting the app
Have you tried the nostr.wine relays? The filter relay combined with other paid relays gives a much nicer experience than using public relays directly. It might not have perfect coverage but it’s pretty good
