The level of brainwashing that needs to happen to get someone to this level is astounding:
"Inflation is the basis of ultra-liberal economics. Inflation is a reflection of macroeconomic surplus value. In other words, it is the guarantee that what you do today is more expensive tomorrow. And it runs wild because of the entrepreneurial appetite.... Not because of the debt."
The government needs to look like it is fighting inflation. But it can only pretend to do so because to fight inflation for real they would need to admit that they are the source of inflation and that tough times are ahead.
