My house lost 40% of its value in bitcoin terms over the last 12 months
My insurance is down by 57%
My fuel is down 46%
Groceries down by 28%
My mortgage repayments are down by 41%
In other words my life is getting cheaper across the board because I use bitcoin as my unit of account....
Its worth considering why the govt selected currency is making your life more expensive - just pick a hard currency like bitcoin or gold and you will get a different answer every time.
I could've listed everything on our family budget but you get the point... I do this to show you how money is supposed to work in a open and free market without the manipulation of the so called "money" by banks and govts.
You want your life to be cheaper start measuring your expenses in bitcoin.
I know your thinking who wants there house to lose value but its just an illusion - your money gained the exact amount in purchasing power because you can now buy a house like yours for half the price it was 12 months ago.....
This fiat experiment that we are in is coming to the end of its days, maybe its a decade or more away but its definitely coming to an end and IMO a return to hard money is going to be the solution - Gold did it for thousands of years until rulers and govts started to realise it could be diluted and debased by cutting coins or mixing the mint with other metals, bitcoin cannot be manipulated or inflated to suit govts or banks....
Who knows maybe bitcoin will fail in its attempt but you need to understand that this is what it was created to do, its not some speculative "crypto" asset that you invest in, its designed to be perfect money and so far its re pricing everything in my world the way a free market should do - and what you are seeing around the world these days is because the money is broken!!!!
