Haha, I thought I was the only absentee ~ the ego on this one!
I used to be obsessed with keeping an actual check ledger ~ it was really satisfying to check it against my balance and have the totals come out the same.
FF a few years and I notice my balance keeps changing. Little tiny increments, but I was checking my balance every day, so I got pissed.
Long story short, a bank stole maybe $2.35 from me over the course of a year and I changed banks. I also got my $2.35 back.
I’m petty ay eff.
Haha, I’m also up with my mom this week, so she keeps comparing the run on SVB to what happened in “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
And also, I know nothing of banks. Real talk. I just DCA and look away.
Personally, I have no clue what’s happening, because the Fed keeps changing their mind.
