this is why i think Liquid is soooooo impressive and unappreciated. They did this half a decade ago and with much much better security via a real decentralized federation. and it’s still running. and it has confidential txs etc
as far as I can tell from nifty’s blog (is she here btw? couldn’t find her to tag) the entire concept of an “Ethereum L2” is basically that it’s Liquid as a 1-of-1 MultiSig.
