Hi everyone! I can't believe I only heard about Nostr yesterday. Looking around, I'm absolutely amazed, as every topic I am interested in is being talked about here.

I've been looking for alternatives to Facebook, because I already left Instagram a year ago, because their AI deletes harmless comments and bans people for no reason. Now the same AI bots are running Facebook and now the exact same issues are happening, with wrongful bans and deletions without recourse.

Completely innocent cat pages without any violations are suddenly deleted or restricted by the same AI bots. Like on Instagram, nobody responds to lift the wrongful bans when you try to contact them.

It's now just a matter of time before my cat page gets caught up with these stupid bots.

I'm from Austria and have 6 beautiful rescue cats. I usually post about the kitties daily shenanigans and the life we live. But I'm also interested in a lot of different topics, which I mainly enjoy reading about like libertarianism, voluntarism, deep dives about all sorts of issues in politics and society and content about life and people's different perspectives and experiences. I also listen to Podcasts a lot about the same topics.

My cats are Hero, a 3 legged tabby boy🐈, his sister Lisa🐈‍⬛, the 3 siblings Lily🐈, Leo🐈, and Little Sonic🐈‍⬛ and our newest family member, Freddy🐈. I found Freddy outside, starving and dirty in late August of this year. I took him in, had him checked out at the Vet and got him back to a normal weight. The other cats accepted him without a problem and they love each other.
