So let's begin:
Crypto helps shitty scam $ fiat by issuing stables. If we remove stables and evaluate everything in BTC. BTC would go 2x against fiat scam in 1 day. This is why people in power are pushing that narrative around BTC now. Its store of value and compare it to gold. Why? They realized they can't defeat it so they are playing along and manipulating for them to gain advantage. They know average person is stupid and uneducated and won't grasp that BTC is manipulated. They want average retail to not even look at BTC as payment system. Or reserve currency that value of money is based on. For example if BTC replaces fiat(usd) as reserve currency people in power would lose all their leverage.
Where is their leverage now?
In issuing fiat and owning banks. With that they control every country that has central banking system even if its €/£ etc. Everyone is dependent on them. They can ruin countries and nations with sanctions and embargo as they are doing for decades. Cuba is a great example and South America. Also Turkey for example. Turkey bent the knee just because of that.
So why do they manipulate people about BTC? To take the power away from BTC and manipulate and consequently control people.
This is why I encourage for sanctions and embargo against israel for example. Because its the only way to make someone back down.
So in short. Right now crypto helps fiat with many things:
First scammers(mostly zios) steal a lot of money from people without consequences, stables support scam fiat system, lurs people into gambling their money away(memes/trading) and at the same time gives fake feeling of resisting the current system.
So people in power actually benefit from it this is why they actually turned their opinions past years. They worked very hard to understand crypto and now to extract even more money from people. Great real example of that is trump meme coin. It wasn't launched by trump himself but his handlers. Who are they? zios. What are they? Experiences scammers. So what did they do? Launched one of the best scams ever in meme space (trump and melania). How much they made? Close to 800M without ever selling one coin. Next level scam. And we know that zios are the best at these.
