I have always viewed growing up as the shift from from dependency to managing one’s own risk. (as opposed to letting others do it for you - i.e. - using third parties.)

For all our faults, and despite our differences, bitcoiners as a group are the most grown up people you can find.

It’s what unifies is.

The more I look at modern products and services the more it feels like a gotdam miracle that we have email sitting on a protocol that lets us send across all platforms.

Consider how stupid it is that you cant send a US dollar from venmo to someone on cash app.

Or that you cant have a clean text chain with people using different makes of phones.

Modern products, and services aim to silo users and trap their customers.

Nostr has the potential to be a base layer for a lot of cool things.
