Merriam-Webster defines FIAT three ways:
1. an authoritative or arbitrary order : DECREE "government by fiat"
2. an authoritative determination : DICTATE "a fiat of conscience"
3. a command or act of will that creates something without or as if without further effort.
They all involve authority or command. We have 4 command structures that act as nodes for propagating the FIAT money that makes the world go round today.
1. Media - dominated by what I call the Mockingbird Media. Search for Operation Mockingbird if you don't know what I mean.
2. Military - this is the "big stick" that the US has carried for the last century and more.
3. Mandarins - the credentialist experts who decide what is true and what is not
4. Mafia - what passes for justice today. You may think this "M" word is a stretch for what used to be called law and order. Wake up.
And finally the fifth element that works behind the scenes controlling the other nodes.
5. Magicians - these are the spooks of the deep state. Inheritors of the legacy of John Dee and Aleister Crowley.
Space narrative is more and more obviously bullshit. Nothing but smoke and mirrors. NASA nothing more than money laundering wrapped in a psyop.
When I was in high school in the late 70s I loved the Boss. He was my favorite artist. I still love a lot of his music, but he and some of my other heroes disappointed my recently with public views that are simply asinine. Neil Young falls into the same category for me.
Complex problems are difficult to solve. That's why they get broken down into smaller workable chunks. The Internet was created by breaking the complex issue of a world-wide computer network is solveable pieces. Layer 1: Hardware. Layer 2: Local delivery. Layer 3: Routing. Layer 4: Applications.
Well someone came up with a layered model of psycology around the same time. I was listening to @countbtc The Breakup this morning and I realized why "Bitcoin Fixes This" is true for people's brains. The base layer of mental health is intimately tied to survival which in today's Fiat society is tied to money. Bad money. Bitcoin fixed everything because sound money fixed bio-survival anxiety. That's the source of the hope that you feel when you first grok Bitcoin!
Here's what I remember about the first 4 layers of this model.
1. Bio-survival. Fight or flight. The base layer of psychology. Every living organism operates at this base layer. It is require to live in a predator/prey environment. If this layer is not broken all bets are off. In a late stage Fiat money economy this is the source of almost all mental illness. Bitcoin fixes this. Reptilian brain.
2. Emotional intelligence. Pecking order. This layer is what people are referring to when they say life has its ups and downs. Politics rules this layer. Mammalian brain.
3. Symbolic intelligence. This layer is what people think of when they hear the word intelligence. It's tied to the hands and the thumbs. Reading, writing, math and science live on this layer.
4. Social Intelligence. This layer is tied to sexuality. The ties that bind a tribe together.

@countbtc I liked yesterday's show. Very funny take on the space drops. I particularly liked how Nolan laid out the architecture of the fiat system: Military, Media, Mandarin and Justice (I can't think of an "M" word for that one). I would add a secret 5th element: Magicians. Magicians are the deep state operators who are pulling the strings of the other 4. Feel me?
