Kayaking and Hiking at Big Hill Pond State Park - Pocahontas, TN
We commuted into the far reaches of TN for a day of kayaking, hiking, and exploring a very nice Tennessee State Park. We barely saw anyone the entire day as we kayaked on the huge lake, explored the swampy Big Hill Pond, hiked a half-mile boardwalk into a swamp, and then up a tower overlooking the entire area. There was a lot to see before heading back to civilization.

Birds Of Spring Break (Vero Beach, Florida)
Some cool birds we saw on our cold beach walk during Spring Break 2023 in Vero Beach, Florida.
It’d be a shame if oil started going up in the face of that…

Oil breaking to new YTD high…
That’s been the only part of the inflation numbers (fake ass bullshit government reported inflation numbers) that have been down recently.
What happens when it starts going up again while everything else is also going up?!?
Hmmm?!?
IMHO higher inflation is here to stay as no amount of money printing replaces real life tangible things…like say oil!
I sure wouldn’t want to own a bond backed by money that can be printed from thin air in this environment. The only one winning that game is the one printing from thin air!
Shiloh National Military Park - Shiloh, TN and Corinth, MS
We toured Shiloh National Military Park in Shiloh, TN. I'm a decently technical guy but the combination of a Federal government-produced (?!?) map/audio tour app and limited cell phone data access had us scrambling the entire 13-mile/22-stop tour (err 23 if you made the map not match the app...which they did do). Regardless, we learned a lot and had fun before heading south to Corinth, MS. There we visited the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center and the railroad crossroads that all the fighting in the area was all about.
Next up we'll see what impact their court loss has on the other outstanding issue of spot ETFs.
Regulatory clarity on Bitcoin is increasing. The same can't be said for other crypto assets (i.e. shitcoins).
Tick tock, Next Block
#Bitcoin
Grayscale +1
Bought and paid for corrupt regulators 0
The regulators have been knuckleheading around forever and it took the court forever to figure it out.
#Bitcoin doesn't care.
It'll be around when all these clowns are gone (including Grayscale).
Tick tock, Next Block.
It is hot AF! I’m out walking my fields cutting thistle. Done with that! Going home and back inside!
BONUS! I also got a TN sauna session in the process! Lol
Bad plants gone
Toxins sweated out
2’fer!
“Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you’ll look back and realize they were big things.” – Robert Brault
I work hard to remember this every single day as I roll through this life.
Exploring Around Pickwick Landing State Park - Counce, TN
We stayed at Pickwick Landing State Park (in Counce, TN) as our home base while visiting a few places nearby. We are not really set up as lake people in our travel rig. This is a lake town. Regardless, the massive dam did create the opportunity for a slew of dam jokes. The nice resort at the state park enabled us to have a fancier-than-normal dinner. Good dam time!
Each year I select my favorite movie of the year. When I'm done with a year the winner is crowned with the highly coveted "Deano’s First Place, Far Out, Fantastic, Favorite, Fine Film Award". I watched 20 of the films released in 2020 (of those I really enjoyed 6).
Honestly. I’m not sure “blocking / reporting” is a thing over here on “The NOSTR”. Damn!?!?
It’s asinine. People need to wake up and realize that the solution is separating the money from the state.
It is bizarre that almost everyone sees the problem but no one focuses on finding the solution?!?
It is literally life and death shit and people just sleep in it?!? Lol…I guess. Oh well…Bitcoin!
My truck is getting some miles on it and I wondered what a replacement might run me. Jaw dropped BTW!
This is a real-life example of Inflation and why CPI is an absolute lie (hedonic adjustments my hind end)!
I bought my 2019 truck for $34k that same truck today will cost me $50k (+$16k or +47%).
But Deano, "they" told me inflation is 4% this year and getting better?!?
These people and their math aren't even close to what I come up with here in the real world.
I hope:
1) you don't need to replace your vehicle (most people's second-largest purchase), or
2) you are making 47% more than you were at your job a few years ago, or
3) your net worth went up 47% over the past few years.
If so, you'll be fine!
PS - Now do house prices (most people's largest purchase)!
PPS - Inflation compounds!
PPPS - I'm sure it is just cars "they" are lying to you about...not houses...not food...not energy....not healthcare....not education...etc...etc...
Your wealth and life force are being stolen from you every single day. Are you paying attention?

Hiking and Kayaking Around Mousetail Landing State Park (Linden, TN)
School's Out Blitz! When Emily's school let out we hit the road. The first stop was Mousetail Landing State Park (near almost nothing but maybe Linden, TN). We are hikers and the hiking in this part of the state is not the best but we were surprised with Mousetail. The trails were better than expected, the campground was one of the nicest we've been in, we hit the water in our kayaks, and the food we had in nearby Parsons, TN was great. Mousetail Landing FTW!
Hiking to Buggytop Cave & Sewanee Natural Bridge @ South Cumberland SP Lost Cove Area (Sewanee, TN)
While in the Sewanee, TN area I needed to check some final destinations off my South Cumberland State Park list. We had not made it to the Lost Cove Area on other trips. Buggytop Cave was the first destination so we hiked a few miles to get there. It was worth it! Much more impressive than I thought it might be. We hit the Sewanee Natural Bridge quickly before returning to Chattanooga for our final Molly graduation weekend celebration.
Listening to Rogan and Post Malone taking about CBDCs today and they were like “uhh…hell nawh”.
Many in the mainstream don’t get #Bitcoin (or own any). But a lot of mainstream people understand where CBDCs are heading.
I wonder if that will be a hill the majority die on. Perhaps. I’m not holding my breathe, however.
Many of those truly worried about them will eventually discover Bitcoin as their solution. I think it is inevitable.
These people won’t be purchasing my coins, however. Sorry…not sorry!
The monster tomato plant is ready for another run. I picked everything that was ready. Still has a ton of tomatoes on it. Still has a ton of blossoms being added. I’ve been eating tomatoes nonstop and many more to go it looks like. It looks like white trash since it has taken over my patio. I’ll take it. I never thought it would do this well.
