Ran into a dad from school this weekend. Found out the guy manages a $10B fund that buys SF rentals. He said SF rentals are more or less reflective of the American wage (4 SF rentals are reflective of the wage of 1 American worker) - a good inflation hedge. Got to talking about bitcoin. He said, “you’re giving me anxiety. You sound a lot like one of our investors, Ross Stevens. Every time I meet with him he always measures everything against bitcoin.”
