#bitcoin has made me optimistic about the future.

I just smash bought my whole paycheck. #Bitcoin

I’m just going to come out and say it… I’m glad 99% of the idiots I told didn’t buy any bitcoin. I was far too liberal with my orange pill attempts in the past. ‘You get #bitcoin at the price you deserve’ is part of the equation to building a better future society. I select my orange pills very carefully now. Alas, to each their own.

The only #bitcoin chart to watch is the bitcoin dominance chart.

#Bitcoin is a hedge against all irresponsible government fiscal policy.

Only around 7,000 unconfirmed transactions in the mempool, priority at 2 sats/vb. #Bitcoin working exactly as intended.

Strategic #Bitcoin Reserves are best kept individually.

#bitcoin gives me hope

#Bitcoin is a bet against irresponsible government fiscal policy. For every dollar you put in, you have the potential to lose $1 if all governments stop their overspending and money printing so fiat money acts as a sound currency. On the other hand, for every dollar you put in you also have the potential to gain infinity dollars depending on how much fiat money is created. I suspect we fall somewhere on the upside over the long run.

Update on trying to stack 0.25 #bitcoin in 2025.

Paycheck 1/26 I stacked 0.0091 or 910,000 sats. Which is a little under my goal of 1,000,000 sats biweekly, but this was to be expected with holiday expenses. Onward!

#bitcoin will always settle in the hands of the strongest holders.

Fiat currencies are imposed by governments, #bitcoin was chosen by the people.

I’m a buyer at these prices. #bitcoin

Day 6 of uploading my old #bitcoin #memes to #nostr

This one aged nicely. Here’s to a healthy and wealthy 2025!

Day 5 of uploading all my old #bitcoin #memes to #nostr

A powerful excerpt from the Stone Ridge 2024 Investor Letter:

“No one forces anyone to use #bitcoin, nor does anyone need anyone else's permission. The power in incomprehensibly large numbers makes bitcoin work. For the same reason, bitcoin favors the individual. Normally the men with the biggest sticks make the rules, but no army in the world can break strong cryptography.

Beautiful and silent, the bitcoin network sits blanket-like atop the earth's topography, robust in its unstructured simplicity. Anyone can transfer bitcoin to anyone, anywhere, erasing borders and linking humanity. On a video call, hold up a barcode. On a message app, click one button. Or just whisper 12 words.

Or don't whisper. Take those 12 words privately rattling around in your head and walk across a border. They may contain $1B of bitcoin, but forget them, and lose your bitcoin.

Peaceful and provably resistant to coercion, why does bitcoin generate such intense animosity?

Perhaps for the very reason that it is voluntary? Or perhaps because its foundational promise - individual sovereignty at the expense of personal responsibility - is offensive to the foundational world view of those confused critics who think they're in charge.”

Day 4 of uploading all my old #bitcoin #memes to #nostr.

This one feels particularly relevant today… I made this meme when Bitcoin was dipping way down around $17,000.

“That with which you can do without, you already own.” - Knut Svanholm (not sure if he was quoting someone else)

First Bitcoin gives you hope, then #bitcoin gives you freedom.
