Happy to announce that I, along with nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq3zamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0qythwumn8ghj7anfw3hhytnwdaehgu339e3k7mf0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qpqgcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewq0yufff and nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq32amnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv3sk6atn9e5k7tcqyp7tz0x7qecwty8s9jlfag8u78s9ak79ej9yp9e3lf2rv3qps8836wkpz4u , have been jointly awarded a 1 BTC bounty from the HRF for our work on NIP 17 DMs.

From hrfbounties.org:

> Update: 1 BTC of this bounty has been claimed by Martti Malmi for his work incorporating this functionality into Iris. The remaining 1 BTC has been awarded to Vitor Pamplona, hodlbod, and Paul Miller for their work on NIP-17. Paul Miller redirected his bounty to opensats in order to have his open-source libraries audited.

I'm still figuring out what I want to do with this money β€” it's too little to allow me to really hire someone for Coracle, but enough to maybe get some work done. So if you have a strong background in nostr and/or web development and would like to do some contracting, please get in touch.

For now, I've gone ahead and donated 5MM sats each to coincenter.org and p2prights.org to help them fight the criminalization of financial privacy in the courts. Appealing to the state is not really a solution to its overreach, but I think it's still an important place to advocate in a visible way for our rights.

congrats!!!

What is currently the easiest and best way to implement a "pay 1 sat per click on a button" with nostr?

What's your favorite prompt based graphic generation tool aka AI for images?

I have used Midjourney and Dale a lot but the new kid on the block is definetly Recraft. Give it a try especially the canvas mode for creation is neat, having awesome features such as set generation and palletr support. Free tier has 10k requests per month.

They also got an API only for enterprise though. Could be interesting for DVMs?

reading books should teach you not to hate..

I guess it is not visible to the nostriches how much work and effort you need to build the tools and run the machines.

I have seen some cost reports but they are all separate and hard to accumulate in the mind, if you 1) do not know how they work together in the network 2) if there are too many of which maybe not all are used by you.

A first reasort could be something like a "gross network cost for running NOSTR" excluding dev.
