Putting the whole op_return debate/argument to one side, I’m surprised at how centralised Bitcoin is in general. I never realised that a group of individuals basically run it. As a pleb I assumed Bitcoin just ran itself, however as we are witnessing it can actually be meddled with.

No. The node runners run Bitcoin. We can just drop Core, and more devs go to Knots. We just need wise mainteners like Luke who respects what Bitcoin is.

The denominator is the 21M fixed supply. Of course 100,000 is way too cheap. Real estate is 300T plus and fiat has no bottom.
