Is anyone else a sucker for #nuclear #fusion potential?

"Perhaps the most ambitious project in the field is the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER), a collaborative effort involving 35 nations. Under construction in southern France, ITER aims to be the largest of over 100 fusion reactors built in the past seven decades. Despite delays pushing its first plasma target to 2035, ITER’s goals remain lofty: to produce 500 MW of heat from a 50 MW input for up to 600 seconds." #science #engineering

I personally love the nostr evangelists that preach for people to jump over here from twatter and then only circlejerk within their little cliques.

BEAR DOWN, #CHICAGO #BEARS!

In Caleb Williams We Trust! Looks like a very solid, albeit young roster. Excited to watch Williams develop over the course of the year. He has all the tools to be a franchise and top 5 #NFL QB.

You can check out https://nostr.band and search by your desired keywords and then just keep hitting that follow button for folks that pop up.

I use Primal, Coracle and Ditto on desktop right now. Main daily driver is Primal though. I try to not use social media on my phone much, but have used Primal and Nostur on my iPhone.

Fellow old IT guy. Welcome aboard!

The only custom feeds you can do on Primal right now is either various incantations on the Explore page or from something you search.

Then you should see the "+ add this feed to my home page" button on the top right. Once added, you hit the dropdown arrow on the home page (see screenie) and you can choose from them. You can reorder or delete by going to Settings | Home Feeds.

Hope this helps.

Also on this, people won't want to their previous content pruned. Using the ole twatter as an example, a lot of people relish in conversations they've had with people, revert back to them for future discussions, etc. Or imagine a nostr version of Facebook or Instagram where pictures self-destruct.

If that is their expected behavior for a social media service, do you think they are going to accept that note where they ratioed and drug Mark Cuban to be gone forever? Or do you think Grandma Bettie is going to be cool with photo albums of her grandkids just disappearing.

We keep seeing that they want mainstream usage or adoption but these are some basic ass user expectations.
