Good morning #Nostr fam! I have some exciting news to share…

So 43 days ago, my household went through a small season where money was tight and moral was low. Finances were stretched thin to the point where I had to stop DCAing Bitcoin daily. At this point, Bitcoin had become my passion so my fellow Bitcoiners can understand that I was crushed that I had to stop buying. But all that changes today.

We’ve made it out of our rough season and I have started daily buys with my new partner in my #Bitcoin journey, nostr:npub1xkere5pd94672h8w8r77uf4ustcazhfujkqgqzcykrdzakm4zl4qeud0en

I am beyond excited to start stacking #sats again. Today serves as the first day I’ve bought Bitcoin with River. Cheers to us! 🍻

Life rarely goes according to plan. There are always going to be bumps in the road. What’s important is to get back up when you get knocked down. Don’t stay down. Get back up and keep going

Love y’all 💜

Congrats! Every little bit counts and ultimately adds up.

Here comes the BlackRock Bitcoin marketing team:

Agreed. Like I remember hearing Dan Batten talk on What Bitcoin Did about a garbage dump in Florida looking into using flared gas from their trash burning to mine.

Did they go through with it? Do they consider it successful? If not, what did they learn? That's the shit that fascinates me.

Can I give you another suggestion that I've made to podcast hosts but it never has gone anywhere?

We always get the breaking news stories but nobody ever seems to follow up on OUTCOMES, which are significantly more important to see if something worked, or why it didn't, etc. So maybe the people involved in that arena would be interesting.

Branching out into other sides of #nostr. Being a big alternative music guy, I'm going to try to post a tune a day that I like and sit in my MP3 (yep, I'm still one of those guys) rotation.

I look at this the same way I look at Bitcoin miners having the right to choose their block templates to filter out Ordinals. They are investing their capital (time and money) and have the right to manage it as they see fit.

If a spammer does not like their content being filtered, they are free to start their own relay.

In both situations, everyone is FREE to choose to do what they want. The most important thing is the protocol remains open to ALL to grant that freedom. That's the permissionless special sauce.

The RTO mandate is the new company layoff cheat code.

Anytime a company wants to lay off employees but doesn't want to fully pay out what they'd have to -- hit the easy button. They will likely eliminate a large portion of those they were planning on cutting in addition to not having to pay unemployment if the individual resigns.

This isn't even getting into how much a company like Amazon likely saves in stock option pay if the employee bolts before vesting date.

"Enemies make you stronger, allies make you weaker."

It's amazing just how far we've fallen.

First time yes. Second time I tried Zeus on mobile and it was fine until my phone broke so I had to force close because you cannot transfer to new device.

Seems like the #HFSC days are here.

In reading the comments on that ReasonTV #Nostr video, a lot of people are instantly dismissive because the protocol isn't fully mature and built out.

You can tell a lot of people weren't around during the early days of the ole Interwebs. Those of us that cut our teeth with Usenet, IRC, wide open SMTP relays, etc... these early days have a very similar feel. We've also lived through the iterations and see where it has landed us. It's precisely the reason why many of us are interested in Nostr.

There are going to be growing pains in working to #grownostr . It's too be expected. If that's too much for you...

Have Fun Staying Censored.
