Personally I can see a use for zaps in regards to someone who puts out a product, videos, or the like. Or the ability to receive them on an account level without them being tied to a specific post, so that there's some separation between my conversations with others and financial rewards for certain conversations. But it's nice to see the the initial zap hype has mellowed out.

As to content discovery, I enjoy the hands on approach. I enjoy talking to someone, so I follow the people they do, the talk to them. As opposed to an algorithm that is more difficult for me to understand.

Well at any rate I think brushing him off as a degenerate psycho is a bit of a mischaracterization given his influence is part of the reason why people now are interested in esotericism.

I can not speak to the political Evola as I have only read from his non-political works. But regardless of what people may think of him, he is doubtless a growing part of the public's psyche.

Evola, one of the more notable recent esoterics, has become quite popular lately, as well as Rene Guenon and their contemporaries. He became popular due to his "far right" philosophies, which opened the door to his magical works.

Back to give Nostr another try.
