Strange thing to post on Nostr… nostr:note1jy7qh2824j7wemcfajws007allxf8kpcm725pralfevakce2lhzs6kgwz4

Actually, it isn’t. In the last 20 years I’ve seen fitness standards decline rapidly. Doesn’t help that the entire country is getting more unhealthy by the day. It is very hard to find people to join the military now: declining fitness levels, lower moral standards, decreased sense of purpose, a questionable government, lower morale, overwhelming feelings of fear and uncertainty. It all makes sense.

What’s with the $boost? Is that some type of different tag? And why use it?

LOL she’s clueless. Degree just means you can stick with a crappy program for about four years. Definitely isn’t experience.

It’s not nothing but it is not exceptional by any measure.

Started an extra job as an electrical and instrumentation instructor at the local community college! Should be rewarding and now I have a legitimate excuse to learn LaTeX to generate class materials so the content isn’t hand written or made with bad tools like Microsoft Word.

They scapegoated Jesus when they turned him over to Pilate. So maybe not a secret, but something that is definitely ignored?

Maybe we should just treat the Middle East crisis like a cage match and we’re the referee.

Except if one of them gets out of line against the other too much we just bomb both of them.

This whole situation is stupid and barbaric.

Soon it will be safe to scroll #global.

To all ideologies that seek to define the human person merely as a product of the state or social community, as a piece of wax to be shaped into the right kind of "citizen" to carry out the state's purposes, the Catholic conception of human worth marks an irrevocable and inalienable boundary around the human person, affirming that the individual always precedes the state and that the state must therefore understand itself as profoundly limited in what it can do in the name of progress. In contrast to all ideologies that seek to define the human person solipsistically, as islands of autonomous sovereignty with no underlying moral connection to other people, the Catholic conception of human worth reminds us that, as the poet John Donne wrote, no man is an island. The moral integrity of every one of us is vulnerable to the individual and communal actions of others, and that vulnerability cuts directly to the final integrity of our soul.”
