Messages that conform to the nostr protocol.

Reviews, likes, zaps etc. are not simple text but they still have to follow the basic nostr protocol specification.

From now on I will ONLY comment or rate anything if it generates a #nostr event.

No point in doing otherwise bc everything else will fade away in due time.

If you care about #privacy you should care about #nostr.

It is the only way to build a better internet without #KYC.

Centralized services will keep screwing each other trying to suffocate the competition so _they_ can harvest all the data.

While legacy internet will stew in the silos it created, #nostr will thrive using peer dynamics no one has ever seen before.

Every REAL nostr-native app benefits from every other app in the ecosystem. Data generated by one app can be utilized by all other apps, making niche apps more lucrative.

This makes nostr app developers running mates instead of enemies. Leave the dog eats dog mentality behind and start building on nostr: The path of fulfillment.

Some people already realize that nostr is winning super hard.

I actually think others will come around pretty fast too. It won't take as much time as bitcoin adoption.

I estimate in a year I'll have almost exclusively nostr apps installed on my phone.

10 seconds of fame (?) for [Bitcoin Troubleshoot](https://bitcointroubleshoot.com) on the [Bitcoin Review](https://bitcoin.review/podcast/episode-66/) pod. Love it! A few points:

1. Online Troubleshooting is not going away. We are onboarding more and more ppl to self custody and very few have 24/7 access to a rather die. They are most likely desperate in the Telegram hellhole with NO trust signal whatsoever.

2. Nostr is becoming the best trust signal you'll ever get on the internet. Therefore, the best place to troubleshoot anything online will be a nostr native solution.

3. The freelancing opportunity for bitcoiners deeper down the rabbit hole could tap into unused energy driven towards making Self-Custody massively better.

4. I'll do everything I can to make this the as safe as possible UX-wise. It's a process but user driven continuous improvement will take care of this if ppl find my approach useful

Humans are inherently social. A lot of hard problems like private key management seem to only be solvable with a strong focus on this fact. Technical improvement per se is not enough.

I aim to make a difference in self custody with bitcoin troubleshoot. Let's see how far I can get.

Ok, I guess the FBI shows #nostr the way how it can stand out:

Money transmitting services and #P2P markets.

Additionally, I think marketplaces and freelancing platforms are much more of a pain point for people than free speech.

People normally just larp about free speech. But trust me, a 10-20% cut from their revenue and they will start taking things quite seriously.

Just look at the amount of tax-optimization services out there, or the discontent of sellers on Instagram, FB marketplace, Etsy, Upwork and Fiverr.

Which one hurts more? One of your shitpost being censored or one of your products?

I never thought of nostr primarily as a safe place for people's thoughts but a wild west of ideas and _activities_ I can't do or experience elsewhere.

#Bitcoin and p2p trade are essential to this new internet paradigm shift. Let's combine this with free speech and we'll win so hard.

Let me introduce you to a new #nostr client I have been working on:

Bitcoin Troubleshoot is an app for Bitcoiners to help each other fix self custody issues for sats.

Alice posts a Ticket and waits for incoming Offers. She receives multiple Offers but she finds Bob's nostr profile the most trustworthy and he bid a fair price.

She takes Bob's offer who can now start resolving the issue in nostr DM or switch to a different platform for the Troubleshooting. Payments happen any way the parties agree on.
