This looks great! I would love the option to respect friends’ reports somehow in Damus. Reports + mute events can create an immune system for spam and abuse on Nostr.
I do this from time to time. The UI for it is terrible.

#[0] how is the App Store Review process going?
I would love to use a client like this.
Amethyst v0.11.0: Notification Bubbles and Verified Follows
APK is below. Google App Store (Beta testers only) in 6 hours. Full deployment if it does well with Beta testers.
https://github.com/vitorpamplona/amethyst/releases/tag/v0.11.0
Where can I read more about verified follows?
Editing and deleting are so critical for so many social situations. I know most Nostr clients don’t support them yet but I think we’ll get there.
I’m sure this has been discussed before, but why are we relying on DNS/nip-05 to lookup a set of relays for a pub key and not a DHT?
This looks really cool, thanks ev. I am going to dive into it next week.
Ah I hadn’t thought of doing it in reverse like that. I would love a link!
Is there a NIP for reporting?
May Tim Apple smile on your build 🌞
I think we’ll still have companies limiting speech on Nostr. The key is that users have a choice about who regulates the speech they see. “no one” is a valid answer but isn’t the world most people want to live in.
Is this for iCloud Advanced Data Protection or just your iCloud password? Or something else?
Dreamed last night of merkle trees and Nostr relays. Somebody is working on this right? I think I saw it somewhere but now I can’t find the link.
Spent today on our company retreat talking a lot about Nostr. The team seems very keen to build something in this space. It’s exciting to be opening our minds to so many possibilities after being deep in the Scuttlebutt world for so long.
Ah thanks I updated the post. I remember seeing some proposed NIPs for it but looking again none of them seem to be implemented yet. (Also I posted this reply already but it seems to have been lost to the ether?)
#[0] here is my hot take on Nostr vs. SSB: https://mattlorentz.com/weblog/2023/01/18/nostr-v-ssb.html
Has anyone ever had a company intranet they actually liked?
