If the stuff coming out the back of planes is just contrails vapour - why does it hang there in the sky, slowly start to spread out, turn into a haze that blocks the sun and then the temperature plummets as thick dark clouds delevop, this now happens every clear day we get.

Not sure if Dewalt sell these to the US market but have been thinking about getting one, obviously if money and space were no barrier you'd buy a large stand alone alone 3phase⚡ (jointer🇺🇸) (surface planer🇬🇧) and separate thickness planer but one of these would suffice for squaring up general timber and resizing, although would need the tablesaw also.
