I have a #3DModel of the #LoRa #radio #solar node that I've been working on for months.
At the top are the mounts for the DFRobot MPPT board with the RAK 19010 board just below it. The big empty space is for a battery pack (4x 26700s).
Of course now that I'm posting this I realized that I want a second battery pack, and I should probably have holes for the solar to come in and antenna to go out. Oh and a short divider so the battery pack doesn't ram into the RAK in transit would be nice.
But am I going to delete this draft and make it look like I did it perfectly the first time? Nope. Post your failures. Own it. Keep it real.

OK, got my funds recovered. Ty to Zeus support and the others who chimed in to help.
Not sure what went wrong with Zeus, but I was able to import the seed into Sparrow and that wallet could see & move the money just fine. Didn't work on the first attempt because BlueWallet doesn't support Taproot (yet)
Zeus has had multiple issues for me, but never lost my money entirely. I'll be playing with smaller amounts going forward.
I was able to rescue them with Sparrow as you and Zeus suggested. I'm not happy to have to use this kind of a failsafe, but I'm glad it was there and worked when I needed it.
I have had several issues with Zeus wallet, but whomever is behind the social media account is absurdly responsive and really knows their shit. One short message and they usually have me out of the initial jam (and potentially onto the next one, but then we repeat until I get my money recovered). So far, no funds lost other than some fees for channel closing (or getting them force closed on me).
Zeus. And they told me to re-scan the chain and now instead of 0 and an unconfirmed tx, it says 9K and no record of that tx.
So I guess my money from those closed channnels was donated to mount olympus. I'm trying to get it sorted out with them, but it's looking pretty grim at this point.
No, not really. I closed the lightning channels and the on-chain wallet said I had 698K (which is what I expected) but I can't move those funds out.
I'm trying to be cool even though my favorite wallet may have just lost ~700K of my sats. Even if I can get the money, my confidence in the software has been shaken. 🫤

I closed all my channels as suggested and then tried to move all my on-chain funds to another wallet. It's been at least a day now and the tx didn't go through. When I try to rebroadcast it, I get this:

I connected a second #battery to my #solar node (one in the #RAK, one in the #MPPT board). I thought the second RAK would drain first, but that's completely backwards!
From the RAK's perspective, it's always going to draw from the solar side, so it'll never use its own battery until the other one ia dead and it's dark out.
The other interesting fact is the RAK battery went from almost no charge to 70% in a single day. Why? It's draining the other battery.
Why? Again, as far as it is concerned, that isn't a second battery, it's a solar panel. All this means that of I ever see #meshtastic report a low battery, I know we are in real dangerous territory. That'd mean it drained one battery completely, which is not trending in the right direction!

OK, I still have the fucked up RAK4630, but I fixed node 1. Some genius decided to reverse the pina between the JST 1.5mm and the JST 2.0mm connectors. Now everyone pins them this way, which means if you make them consistent on your board, you're now incompatible with batteries or other devices with JST connectors.
I reversed the pins on my USB-A to JST 1.5mm and was back in business. This happened because I switched the power wire when I connected the new MPPT board and didn't check closely enough.
