Very beautiful

A sea of green greets my eyes,

The trees swaying in a songful breeze.

Sunlight filtering through leaves,

Dancing shadows on the ground below.

Birds chirp among the branches,

Flying between the towering trunks.

The air is fresh and smells of pine,

Wafting through the open window.

A squirrel scurries up an oak,

Searching for an acorn meal.

A chipmunk darts across the grass,

Playing in the soft fertile earth.

Peace and calm fill this place,

Far from town and city noise.

Nature's symphony surrounds me

As I gaze from my forest house.
