Social media that has users with balls made of steel:
- The Fediverse (Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica Misskey, etc)
- Nostr
- Twister (like Nostr but instead of using ws, it uses bittorrent protocol. Now inactive)
The one that doesn't:
- Bluesky (even decentralized)
- Threads
The #fediverse first time experience in absolute nutshell:
>YouTuber joined one of (small) mastodon instance
>Uploaded a post with a link to a video
>The server owner / admin went mad because the video contain some words that they don't like
>B O N K
>And then the Youtuber made a video "I got banned in Mastodon" just after a hour of #fediverse / #mastodon usage
You see, Fragile wooden planks, Numbers of holes at roof which causes numbers of leaks,
Yet wanna increase the price? Nah bro. I am not going to accept that.
At the same time i was developing and testing out #Nostr bouncer (or proxy) relay called Bostr: https://github.com/Yonle/bostr
The goal here is to reduce client network bandwidth usage, and allowing users to get notes & posts from 20+ relays that the bouncer connected to.
We have a testing server here, Which you could configure your #nostr client to connect to this bouncer.
