Apart from the number of relays that you connect to, the profile pictures and images that get loaded on your feed as your scroll or visit someones profile also contribute to high bandwidth usage. Some profile pictures are as large as 10-20 MB (especially gifs).

Nostr band mentions this https://media.nostr.band/ and has a media caching server to compress images in real time. Maybe clients (especially mobile clients) can use this or provide options to disable gifs or handle large images being displayed?

Once you download either one. Complete the sign up and login process, click on 'receive', find Lightning Address, copy and paste it into your profile in your Nostr Client.

The Nostr client profile field should be called something like 'Bitcoin Lightning Tips' or 'Lightning Address or LNURL'.

It doesn’t for now. However, other clients like iris.to and astral.ninja have the search a pubkey/nip-05 function. For searching keywords I use https://nostr.band or https://nostrum.pro

I think eventually most clients will incorporate the keyword search too.
