Looking forward to the day in bitcoin when I don’t have to say “as a progressive.” Of course I know bitcoin is a neutral open protocol, but the culture and perception of it are still largely “right wing.”
So, while we get more voices in here, I’ll continue to advocate those “progressive” points in particular. The world still needs to know, that especially in America, Bitcoin isn’t only for crypto bros and Ted Cruz (also I’m not being facetious here, it really is perceived that way in the real world and definitely from progressives, which I’m trying to change the narrative on).
Thanks for the shout and I’m here to promote freedom for all, as I believe that’s what Bitcoin is about. And I’m so sorry for the experience folks have had with anything analogous to white supremacy, racism, and just hatred. Unfortunately there’s still those “keyboard warriors” that have pain they’re looking to take out on others. I won’t stop fighting against that in our world, and in the bitcoin and nostr community ✊🏻
